Rev. John Frederick Neudeorffer Files 1967-1982; 1978-1982.

This series comprises two folders of material retained by the Rev. J.F. Neudoerffer, Secretary for Southern Asia and the Middle East of the LCA's Division for World Mission and Ecumenism. They are from 1967-1982 with the majority dating from 1978-1982. The material consists of correspondence, field reports, and topical reports. These items were placed into their own series because they contain material from several different countries for which Rev. Neudoerffer had responsibility of overseeing mission work. The first folder contains a copy of a report written by the Rev. Warner Luoma, missionary to Indonesia, and pertains to a program regarding theological education by extension. In addition to the report itself, there are also comments solicited from persons in other countries in which the LCA worked. The second folder is a compilation of several of Rev. Neudoerffer's field reports and writings about different aspects of mission work in Southern Asia and the Middle East. Most of the reports pertain to work in India, but the field reports contain updates for other countries.
